Easter & Anzac Day Delivery Updates
Urgent Couriers (North Island only)
- Auckland - no delivery on: Good Friday (18th April), Easter Sunday (20th April) and Easter Monday (21st April), Anzac Day (25th April) and Sunday (27th April).
- Wellington - no delivery on Easter Sunday (20th April) and Sunday 27th April.
- Waikato, Bay of Plenty & Whangarei - no delivery on Tuesday (22nd April).
NZ Couriers (North & South Island)
- No orders will be shipped on Thursday (17th April), Easter Monday (21st April) or Thursday (24th April).
Kiwi Express (Christchurch only)
- No local Christchurch orders will be shipped on Good Friday (18th April), Easter Monday (21st April) or Anzac Day (25th April).
Shipping information
FROZEN PRODUCTS
We use various courier companies to ensure your frozen products are delivered safely. Please read the details below for information about delivery options, packaging, and other important details related to your Raw Essentials order.
- Urgent Couriers: We deliver to most areas in Auckland, Whangarei, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Wellington, and Wairarapa. See more info below.
- NZ Couriers: We now deliver to the South Island and some areas of the North Island (Coromandel, Whangamata, & surrounding non-rural areas) using NZ Couriers Overnight Service. See more info below.
- Kiwi Express (Christchurch Local Only): Most Christchurch orders are delivered using Kiwi Express’s 2-3 hour courier service. See more info below.
RURAL DELIVERIES
We currently do not deliver frozen products to rural addresses. Please ensure you provide a residential address for delivery.
MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITIES
We’ve set minimum order quantities to maintain product quality and reduce the chance of defrost during transit. Delivery Tip: We recommend being home (or nearby) to receive your order, as frozen products need to be placed directly in a freezer. Larger or bulk orders may be left outside for a short period, but this is at your own risk.
PACKAGING
We use sustainable packaging to help minimize defrosting.
- Urgent Couriers Auckland - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: Freezer-grade cardboard box, gel ice packs, and paper.
- Urgent Couriers Other Areas: Freezer-grade cardboard box, foil bag, gel ice packs, and paper (if necessary).
- NZ Couriers: Freezer-grade cardboard box, insulation wool liner, and gel ice packs. (In 2025, we plan to switch to insulated wool liners for all deliveries!)
TREATS & FREEZE-DRIED PRODUCT DELIVERY
All non-frozen products, including natural treats, freeze-dried mixes, supplements, toys and pet care products, are delivered nationwide via NZ Post. We offer free shipping for orders over $100 (non-frozen products only).
