STORE MANAGER (FULL TIME) - Howick, Auckland
ABOUT THE ROLE
You and your team, will provide advice and education for pet owners, to help their dogs and cats eat their way to better health, through a consistent level of outstanding service.
This is a full time leadership role working 5 days (approx. 40 hours across Tuesday to Sunday). You will be responsible for overseeing all store operations including staff management, stock control, client case management, business development along with the day-to-day running of a retail operation. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career, with full support, as we grow and develop our business.
Our stores get regular frozen deliveries, so you'll need to be strong, active and willing to get 'stuck in', in order to unpack deliveries and keep the freezers fully stocked.
ABOUT YOU
You must have strong people management experience, a customer service orientation, and be business savvy. A qualification and experience in the veterinary field or related industry is desirable.
You will have an active interest in raw feeding for cats and dogs, and a passion to engage with people. Full training in all aspects of raw feeding for cats and dogs will be provided.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate strong business management experience, preferably in retail or customer-oriented industry or the veterinary field
- Be an experienced people manager who enjoys coaching their team and leading by example
- Be passionate about natural animal health & well being with a strong interest in raw feeding
- Have an excellent customer service focus and strong work ethic
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to network and build strong business relationships
- Have no issues with lifting heavy boxes (up to 20kgs) of stock
- Have the ability to travel within Auckland on occasion
- Have a veterinary or other animal-related qualification or background (preferred but not essential)
