Pilchards

Whole pilchards are a great way to add fish into the diet of your pet. They are soft boned making them suitable for dogs of all sizes.

Our raw frozen pilchards are a healthy source of protein that is also easily digestible. They are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids which decreases inflammation and enhances your pet’s skin and coat.

Pilchards are a great product to add into the diet of pets with skin or joint issues as they are naturally high in essential fatty acids.

We suggest feeding fish 2-3 times per week as part of a balanced raw diet (including mixes, green tripe, organs and raw meaty bones).

TIP: When first introducing your pet to pilchards you can cut them up small and then gradually feed bigger and bigger pieces until they get the hang of eating the whole fish.

Our pilchards are not sprayed with preservatives (nitrates) and are 100% from New Zealand.
